Description

The Cognos Advanced course is made up of 12 different chapters, 8 of which you may choose for a given 2 day class. The class is not meant for people who are totally new to the IBM Cognos interface as the course immediately delves into advanced topics. Please make sure you have either significant prior experience, or have previously taken the IBM Cognos Introduction to Reporting Class. The class can include the topic of “how to create a multi-dimensional report” and teaches you how to return data using multi-dimensional functions. The class may also include the topic of “active reports” which is a functionality of creating a report that you  can be display apart from the IBM Cognos web portal. Finally, this course includes the topic of creating advanced reports on the Cognos Analytics web portal. The content is as follows:
